Bamburgh is a fantastic place to be based within Northumberland, as you’re in such a prominent position on the coastline. It’s just 5-7 minutes drive from the cottage to Bamburgh main street. Seahouses, Beadnell, Craster, Embleton, Alnmouth, Warkworth and Amble can all easily be reached following the picturesque coastal route down the Northumbrian coast. Northwards you can reach Budle Bay, Holy Island and Berwick, and inland the National Park can be reached in an hour.
