Following two public consultations, and subsequent discussions with Local County Councillor Guy Renner Thompson, Bamburgh Parish Council and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), a Highway Improvement scheme has been designed to improve road safety by reducing congestion and improving traffic flow in Bamburgh. Before work commences, the Council is holding a Public Exhibition where the proposed plans will be on display. The Council invites members of the public to come along and view the plans, ask questions and give feedback on the proposals. The Exhibition will be held in the Pavilion in Bamburgh on Tuesday 27th March 2018, from 2pm until 7.30pm. The works programme is currently being considered but works could potentially commence later in April.
