NOTICE OF REFERENDUM
North Northumberland Coast Neighbourhood Development Plan for the North Northumberland Coastal Area neighbourhood area
1. A Referendum will be held on THURSDAY 24 May 2018 to decide on the question below:
"Do you want Northumberland County Council to use the neighbourhood plan for the North Northumberland Coastal Area to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"
2. Poll cards will be sent out to all residents of the Parishes of Bamburgh, Beadnell and North Sunderland who currently feature upon Northumberland County Council’s Electoral Register. Residents who are currently registered to vote by post will be sent a postal vote pack.
3. Any residents of Bamburgh, Beadnell or North Sunderland who are unsure as to whether they are registered or not or wish to register to vote or to vote by post or proxy should contact Electoral Services, Northumberland County Council, County Hall, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 2EF or ring on 01670 624811 based on the deadlines set out below:

| Applications for an emergency proxy vote on the grounds of physical incapacity or work/service reasons - The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5pm on Wednesday 16 May 2018. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Wednesday 16 May 2018. | 5pm Thursday 24 May 2018 |
